Nurturing Touch


Prenatal
During the phase of pregnancy, this is a moment where the woman experiences important changes emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Implementing frequent prenatal massages help with reducing pain and medical interventions. It improves posture and sleep and helps to reduce swelling. All the benefits increase the woman’s potential for a more satisfying birth experience.

Postpartum
Postpartum touch gives a stronger sense of connection, comfort and warmth. It supports the time and space to engage in self-care during your postpartum period. It encourages oxytocin release that reinforces the connection to baby and family. It decreases pain from neck, shoulders, low back and chest triggered by carrying your child for prolonged time. It lessens fatigue by improving your sleep during this important shifting time. This type of therapy can be helpful even after 3 years postpartum.

Postpartum Abhyanga
In the ayurvedic approach, the elements of nature are taken in consideration. Precisely the air and space elements which tend to increase during the postpartum window within the womb and the mind. In this therapy, the practitioner will focus on grounding and reconnecting the mother with a generous amount of warm oil. The head, belly and feet are included in the oil immersion. With this deeply soothing and comforting massage, you will feel nourished, beloved, and serene for a prolonged time beyond this session.

Natural induction
Natural induction is an intentional touch and energy used during the massage with various techniques to stimulate labor (not instant). The senses, the release, and the connection to the baby is at the core of this therapy.
